[m] So I'm going to roll it in a slightly different way. Everyone will start with 100HP (if anyone reaches anything below 20 they'll automatically receive an injury/maiming/death depending on how low they are on HP, it correlates to the odds in a death roll, so a surrender threshold will be required) and the joust will be divided in two parts.
The first one will consist of the traditional tilt, which will go on until someone is unhorsed. This part has an added risk of death rolls but only natural rolls will be counted unless someone PM's that they will try to kill their opponent. The difference in rolls will also be discounted from the total HP.
Afterwards, assuming no one has surrendered yet, there will be a melee fight for the crest. This one will consist of three rounds with a (blunted) weapon and three rounds with a dagger and it's goal is to force the other knight to surrender. Melee bonuses will be used here, since it is fought on foot, but maluses will be carried over from the previous round(s).
If by the end of the joust no one has reached the surrender threshold the Queen of Love and Beauty aka Me will choose a victor.
