3rd Month, 324 AC

The host of the House Blackmont had come as quickly as it could down the eastern banks of the Torrentine. Lord Anders had driven the men hard, hoping to catch some of the raiders before they put back to sea. The force he had brought represented nearly the entire military strength of the House Blackmont. If we can catch them, they will taste the wrath of all of Dorne on our blades.

As the Torrentine met the sea, the castle of Starfall came into view. The white keep stood on an island at the mouth of the Torrentine, gleaming in the cool winter sun. Only one feature of the holdfast was noticed by Lord Anders, it had not been sacked. Relief came over the Justicar of Dorne, glad that the raiders had not managed to create a permanent foothold in Dorne. Yet, the first tendrils of doubt began to enter his mind. Certainly they must have seen the raiders land, even if they were unable to do anything about it.

"Captain Gerold, have the army make camp. We will begin our patrols of the coast as soon as I gather information from the guard of the House Dayne. They should be able to lead us to where the slavers made landfall."

Lord Anders and twenty knights rode for the walls of Starfall bearing the banners of the House Blackmont, leaving the rest of the 1,800 man host behind.

"I am Lord Anders Blackmont, Justicar of Dorne. I come to speak with the Lady Clara Dayne."
