Hello fellow fisherman of the Iron Range area, I am looking for some recommendations on good lakes to catch northern pike from shore. I recently moved back to Hibbing after being gone for a little over 10 years and the lakes I grew up fishing(Kelly, carey) I just can't seem to catch any northern anymore. I do know about the Kelly Lake freeze out and restock a few years ago, but I do t know if there are any still left. I'm not looking for any other species than northern, just because it's been a few years since I caught one, size doesn't matter, just abundance, I'm not looking to keep any unless they have no chance of survival. I know of and frequent good lakes for bass, bluegill, crappie, ect.
