Post Body

King Bleddyn wrote to his brother, Rhiwallon, to request for his aid against the English.

Brother, I ask that you raise a force to help us defeat these English who killed my half brother, and split Wales into these petty kingdoms. We have the Saxon support, and despite our oath to the English King, in doing this we will be in a much stronger position, as we will have a strong alliance with Saxon Britain, as well as with many other states around us, with a secured claim to Wales. Please, meet me with your troops and we can march into Britain and reclaim Cymru for the house of Mathrafal!

After writing this letter, Bleddyn called for his lower lords, and asked them to raise their own hosts of troops to combat the English.

After about three days of raising and arming troops, of which there were around 3,750, King Bleddyn ap Cynfyn moved his troops to Powys, and combined with his brother's force, it measured at a total of 7,350 troops.

Troop Type Amount
Mixed Cavalry 1,000
Archer 2,000
Foot Soldier 4,350

These troops shall begin to harass the flank of the English, and will not commit to any full engagement unless they are sure of victory, instead are to just probe at the English and destroy any out of position armies. However, with news of the Saxon invasion, they are to fully commit to a full frontal assault in the hopes of a victory and are to move into British towns and raid them once victory is achieved.
