Chairman's pick?
Post Body

Heyyyy!

I just watched the Potato Battle between Chen and Kobayashi.

I just love how calm and badass Kobayashi-san is. She's just enjoying the battle, no pressure, and even got time to peek and check on Chen's cooking(which is both bad and good for me). In the end, she won. Convincingly. Simply.

But the one thing that really striked me is how confident she is with her cooking. She let Chairman Kaga pick her opponent, stating that she's honored to battle even one of them. Much more, actually win.

Which brings me to the question.

It is unique that Chairman Kaga picks the opponent for the Challenger. Is there any other instances that this happened aside from Chen VS Kobayashi battle?

Thank you!
