So bellow is a list of projects in Iria we have planned, and/or currently working on. This post will be made up of a table which will consist of brief information about projects, and then a more detailed overview/description bellow. If you are interested in helping out in any of the bellow projects, just ask and see how you can get involved!

THE GREAT IRIA BRIDGE A new bridge connecting Central Iria to Iria's outskirts, the bridge will serve as a new landmark of Iria after completion. The main structure of the bridge is complete, but it still has yet to have the path on top paved, and the towers on both ends constructed.

REGIONAL NATURE PROTECTION & PRESERVATION An on-going project to restore and protect the natural environment around the region, specifically efforts need to be made in repairing some of the briefed Redwood trees in surrounding regions.

THE GLURFHOLE/SPLEEF ARENA Spleef arena currently under construction. Its main structure is complete, but certain bits still need working on. We're planning to have wall murals in the pit for people to look at before falling to their deaths.

HORIZON'S VAULT

So you may or may not have heard, we're currently in the works of creating a new vault/bunker for citizens of Iria. It's really cool and going to be a nice place to hang out and party when Iria's being raided. Any further information is classified until further notice for security purposes whilst in construction.

FORT IRIA

The area inside the fort has been cleared and leveled. Next the walls will be taken down and rebuilt to fix issues in alignment. Following the completion of the walls an entrance and path from rural Greenville will be added. Inside will contain various buildings to help Irians and visitors.

• A building for XP production that contain storage of all materials used in producing XP. An area for individuals to contribute will be available as well. Storage will be secure and open to only trusted citizens. Contribution areas will be open to all citizens and will serve as temporary storage. Each chest in these areas can be labeled with a name to help reward active contributors. Material can then be moved to secure storage and later be used in producing XP.

• Apartments to provide more space for new citizens.

• Information center for visitors indicating important locations.

• Original building to be restored.

Notes: I am open to more ideas and would like some input on current plans. Design for the new wall will be posted soon. There are snitches that were found and need to be evaluated by wolf.

Plan

VILLAGE RESTORATION

The village south of Iria is being repaired. Prior buildings were mapped and will be rebuild in original locations. Buildings will be reinforced to prevent future greif. A temporary building stands near Victory Road and will be replaced once the project is completed.

LIBRARY

Plans to create a printing press in the basement of the library building. Also continually collect and stock up on books for the facility.

GREENVILLE RAIL

This has been long overdue, the plan is to connect a rail from Iria's station to Greenville, so that residents can easily travel to other towns without the hassle of walking all the way to Central. The design of the station and rail has pretty much been set with the following features...

• A station surrounded by a giant wheat field (think end of Portal 2)
• Station built with a consistent style as the current central station to give it an Irian signature
• A scenic route through the wheat fields and a good view of the Great Iria Bridge before diving down into the river (through the water!) and towards the station.
• A small section of bridge that will run parallel with the Great Iria Bridge.

GREENVILLE DISTRICT DEVELOPMENT

As there are now a fair amount of people living in the Greenville district, we feel it be necessary to begin efforts in urbanizing the town. This is a big project that consists of many smaller projects. The overall structure will revolved around the current tavern being the "entrance" to Greenville from the main road (which goes south from the bridge). Some of the sub-projects involved include...

• Redevelopment of the center of Greenville (where the fountain currently is). We plan to make it feel more like a rural town center by turning that rough location into a plaza surrounded by new plot locations.
• Development new prime plot locations in Greenville, these plots will be around said district center, and for aesthetic purposes, will have a more strict build code.
• Movement of the stream going through Greenville to accommodate the new urban plan without totally eradicating it. (Preserve natural beauty)
• Developing a new station at Greenville as a terminal of a new Greenville rail in the works. This has already been designed is consists of a station built under a giant wheat field (think end of Portal 2).
• Currently this project is in early planning stage so things aren't fully set, and new ideas can be added when thought of

CATHEDRAL GARDENS

Plans to create some pretty gardens outside and around the cathedral area to boost aesthetics of the town. Anyone's input is welcome.

IRIA RAIL NETWORK DEVELOPMENT

Developing a series of new rail lines to improve the transportation to and from Iria. The proposed lines will reduce transport times or make it more convenient to travel to currently connected towns, and form new connections to towns that are not already connected. Proposal in the image bellow. This project still needs approval from many related authorities and are still in early planning stage.

IRIA XP PRODUCTION/EXCHANGE

Currently in early planning stages, this project proposal aims to boost XP production in Iria to help new players get to their feet by opening up jobs as well as help boost the capital of Iria to aid in future development projects (i.e. XP used to make enchanted tools for citizens of Iria).

VICTORY ROAD (CORUM INTERSECTION)

The road south past Greenville will be rebuild on the ground. It will be made to look more natural and appealing. Construction can begin once a plan is made and approved.

A wiki page could help attract potential newcomers so it would probably be benefitial to make one. Two good sources that could provide most basic info is the post with basic information on Iria and the post on Iria's settlement history as part of a series by Pericorp.
