I have always noticed the cooling fan while fast charging. But recently I have noticed my cooling fan running right after charging on 240, I have the charging set to minimum. I have recently started using my car more often and not able to always charge at night so I’m charging during the day and using the car not too long after charging is done or I unplug while it’s charging. My question is. Is it normal for the cooling fan to run on 240 charging? I know it’s been warmer than usual but it’s been happening before the warm weather hit. I have the 28kwh version with 52000 miles. I saw a video about the fan vents causing premature battery degradation on a Prius because of it being dirty and not allowing sufficient airflow to cool. Is that something to worry about with this car?
