Factory Defect?

Post Body

I actually just noticed this scratch or crack on the top part of the passenger door window by the driver’s side today. I don’t know how it happened, but I don’t think it’s caused by another car. There’s no other visible scuff mark around that scratch. My partner said it might be a defective part from the factory. I’m not sure if I agree, though.

I got the lease of this 2024 i5 in late May. Should I attempt to fix this issue now or just wait? Also, the dealer where I leased the car is about 45 minutes away from where I live, but there’s a couple of Hyundai dealers nearby. Do I have to take the car to where I leased it to have it fixed or can I take it to the nearby one?

And… I wonder how much this will set me back… 🥱
