Please hear me out. I joined this group as a new invisalign wearer. I have been hoping for information on best practices as well as great treatment stories/photos.
So far 80% of the thread has been people griping about having to wear the aligners for 22 hours a day. You knew before your first trays went in that this was the case. Suck it up buttercup. These are first world problems. You know how many folks out there want this treatment that cant afford it. Count your blessings that you are one who can. Follow the program and stay the course.
End of Rant - thanks!

22 hours was stressful for me too, so I do 19-20 hours and wait 8 or 9 days before switching to a new set of trays instead of 7. My orthodontist wasn't fazed when I told him that and I don't care if it means my treatment time is on the longer side if it means I don't stress over how long it takes me to eat. Every person is different though and I can understand wanting treatment to be done ASAP too.
