If In doubt, just do it
Post Body

I know there’s so many horror story posts, and pain, and misery…. And everyone is certainly entitled to their pain & allowed to vent. However, every once in a while I think we need a palate cleanser. Not everyone had/has pain. I don’t know if it’s because I’m on bi weekly changes or what (bc I have some intense crowding), but I’ve had practically no pain. Throughout the time of getting my teeth cleaned and wisdom teeth extracted, a lot of the posts scares me thinking I would be miserable if I got Invisalign. It’s been the complete opposite, it’s felt nothing more than just having a retainer in my mouth. All I can say is, maybe the first day or 2 I feel a tad bit more pressure and for the next 12 days I’m fine and getting accustomed to the new bite my teeth have created. You won’t regret straightening your teeth and loving yourself more. You may certainly regret not doing it though.

I think as I’ve said before there’s more pain stories because people want to have validation and comfort knowing someone else feels likewise. I can’t say if you will or won’t have pain, but I hope this helps or calms someone’s nerves on hesitation if they should do it or not, because I too was once in that spot.
