So not only did my dentist tell me, but there’s also a video on “TrayMinder” app as well. (I’ll explain what TrayMinder is in a moment)
If the pain and pressure becomes too severe for you to handle (hopefully not), take Tylenol over Advil, naproxen or any anti-inflammatory medicine. Pretty much if my memory serves me right, they want the inflammation of the gum tissue because it helps push along the treatment, whereas without the inflammation may slow it down. If you’re anything like me, unfortunately Tylenol barely does anything for me anymore (thanks severe cramps as a kid haha)
As for TrayMinder, it’s an app, where you can take progress photos, track the time your trays are in/out and helpful videos and tips!
Also while I’m here, does anyone have a recommendation of aligner cleaner tabs? I don’t eat or drink with my trays in but k realize my trays are kinda skanky looking (I guess your saliva looks like it calcifies on the trays? Or maybe from left over fluoride of the toothpaste?)
