You need to look into Brius!!

It’s a new technology so it’s not available everywhere, but it’s a new lingual orthodontic technology that hides behind your teeth (truly invisible vs chunky trays) and has no wire (so you could floss, and no painful and time consuming tightenings), and since each brace moves each individual tooth, treatment plans are half that of traditional braces and Invisalign. It’s a light, gentle pressure throughout the treatment vs intense pressure then none. I couldn’t do trays like this because they’re painful switching to the next tightest one, and it discourages you from putting them in. And they smell. It makes me gag. No matter how much you wash them.

For me to get Brius on my top teeth only (purely cosmetic), it was $4000 and treatment will be less than a year. I should start seeing results within a month or two after they go on. It takes them a month to design the braces because it’s not a one-size-fits all (each wire is individually manipulated for each tooth’s desired movement), but I get them on at the end of this month and am super excited/will share updates about it.

My orthodontist was wearing a set himself to try it out (and he’s one of the best lingual orthodontists in the world. Like, doctors travel from around the world to study at his office). You literally can’t see it at all.

Only main complaint is if you’re doing bottom teeth, it’ll cut your tongue up at first. But they give you wax for that. And you have to relearn how to talk/will have a lisp for the first week, but that’s similar to other kinds of braces.
