Bracket instead of retainers when done with Invisalign ?

I only got invisalign on my bottoms because of shifting that gave me a skyline of skyscrapers. I'm about to be done in about 3 months, and I know that I would be receiving a retainer and would be expected to wear it forever.
My question is, I know multiple people that have had that metal looking bracket installed to the back of their bottom teeth and I would rather have that instead of wearing a retainer every night. Has anyone gotten it ?
