So I just finished 19 trays...they took off my attachments...and I was saying how my bite didnt feel right...He then started talking about how now we can get to the fun stuff (crowns/veneers etc-basically more money for me to spend) and then he said he would do some stuff for bite adjustment today so it was more comfortable until we got to other stuff and he would just charge me later????
I then asked how much this bite adjustment would be and he said it ranges...I said between what...he said 390-790????? Seemed pretty arbitrary
I feel like that should have been included with invisalign.
I also feel really stuck.
- I initially went to him to get cosmetic work done.
- He then convinced me if I did get crowns because of my bite my bottom teeth would wear away the back of them and I should do invisalign first
- I now did invisalign and with covid I lost my job and I cannot afford to spend another 8-14k for veneers as planned originally.
- I told him financially it was not possible for a while and then he said he would just adjust some of the bite now and charge me later???
Anyone have any suggestions/experience/advice here
I feel like I am being scammed even though he is a highly regarded dentist and has won many awards...
