Metal Rubber Band Attachments Causing Extreme Sensitivity
Post Body

I started my treatment yesterday and was fit with both regular attachments as well as four metal attachments for rubber bands. I am experiencing extreme tooth sensitivity on the metal rubber band attachments that are on my upper teeth (no sensitivity on the bottom teeth). Previous to getting the attachments i've experienced sensitivity when getting my teeth cleaned at the dentist on one of the teeth that has an attachment (was told there was a bit of gum recession), but i've never experienced it on the other tooth and never experienced it from simply brushing my teeth at home.

Is this normal and will the sensitivity go away? It is extremely painful to brush in that area, I just bought sensodyne but have only used it once and was still feeling the extreme sensitivity. Any insight would be appreciated, thanks a bunch!
