I’m currently getting Invisalign quotes and treatment plan recommendations from different orthodontists before making a decision on who I’ll go with. I’ve read on this group it’s best to go with an orthodontist, but my dentist I’ve been seeing for years is a Diamond Invisalign provider (not sure if that matters). I was going to get a quote from him too. My best friend’s mom is currently doing Invisalign under him, and while it’s cheaper, I’m less concerned with money and more concerned about quality of care. I guess what I’m getting at is, do I give my dentist whom I trust and have seen for 10 years a chance, or go straight to an orthodontist? Has anyone else had it done under a dentist? If so, what was your experience, positive or negative?
