Question -
I messed up my Invisalign by not wearing them (long story but I couldn’t make the payments and had a lot of drama going on also some of the brackets popped off so I didn’t go in bc I couldn’t pay) the point is that the trays don’t fit now and I didn’t go back in for a year.
The dentist is willing to work with me re: money and instead of charge me $350 a month make it $150 a month, but I need all new imaging/trays bc my teeth moved.
They quoted me at $600 to get imaging and trays done. Now, I know all of this is my fault so no need to shame me but I heard from a dentist friend it costs dentists like $30 to do new trays (from Invisalign) and then obviously the dentists time when you’re at the office. But the actual remaking of trays from Invisalign charge to the dentist is super cheap. Can anyone confirm? I really want to finish my treatment but I had to stop bc I couldn’t pay. I was hoping when I went back it wouldn’t be an immediate 1k payment but now it’s $600 plus $150 so walking in again is $750 😞
Does anyone know what the actual cost for them to make trays is?
