Gum around metallic hook is swollen and inflamed; Ortho office is closed, what should I do?

My invisalign has hooks for putting elastics. One on the left and one on the right. It's been healthy for 3 months. However, the gum surrounding the metallic hook on the left side has become painful since 2 days ago, swollen and a whitish spot on the head of the swollen part. The right side is fine. I thought it'll get better on its own. However, it's staying the same or only increasing.

My ortho office is closed on Sat, Sun. Is there anything I should do to make this better before I am able to visit my ortho? Did anyone of you experience this?
