Finally done?
Post Body

I’ve had Invisalign for almost 3 years. My orthodontist suggests I end treatment and order retainers now. There are 2 teeth that I’m not exactly happy about but considering how bad my teeth were originally, should I just stop now? :(

I'm a little over 17 months into treatment, and just yesterday was offered the option to be done or continue with a final round of refinements. Three of my lower teeth (including a canine) are still slightly "rotated", but my bite is great now and everything else is straightened.

I opted to move forward with one more round of trays since I did pay a lot of money to get things as perfect as possible. However, I did agree partially because a final round will be short compared to previous ones, I got to ditch elastics, and I will drop more attachments in the final round. It's worth asking about how long and/or onerous a final round will be.
