I just had a consultation, and was feeling pretty positive about straightening my teeth with Invisalign. But…
Post Body

I joined this group to get a better idea of life with Invisalign, and the orthodontist didn’t mention anything about not being able to eat and drink with it, or about having to wear retainers for the rest of my life, which I have seen others on this sub mention. Maybe this is all common knowledge, and I’ve just been in the dark, and that’s why the orthodontist didn’t tell me. I am pretty concerned about these things. Like, I drink a lot of coffee all day long. That would have to change? And I am retainers every night for the rest of my life? What about, like, sexy times and such? Stuff that happens hen the lights go out. Wouldn’t the retainers be a distraction? Or just put them in after (I pass out pretty fast). Maybe Invisalign isn’t for me? I’d love some advice or feedback on my concerns. Thanks!
