i am not saying he should agree with her , just saying it would have been better if they had a better conversation to really show their true intent , it could go smt like this:
M: hey you could send few viltrumites and teach us about your technology if like helping humans.
A:it dosen't work like that
M:we can work together instead of fighting , work alongside us instead of above us
A: it can't be, we're superior ........
...
