iOS in Supervised Mode without reset

Dear,

I have the following situation, that I have devices which are in ABM manager and configured into supervised mode.

They have never seen Intune before, but after I added the coporate-identifiers into Intune and enrolled the device via Company Portal I can assign all policies and do all actions, which are normally only available if the devices has been enroll via Intune and ABM.

I thought to get one Supervised device from one MDM to another I have to reset and re-register it. But it seems, that this is also possible without a reset.

Can somebody explain this to me?
