Hi all,
I wonder if I'm overlooking something simple - we have 4 sharepoints that are sync'd to explorer for staff, and one of them has like 1 million files (1tb).
I only sync the available online mode, but even so it takes about 4-6 hours for the initial sync of 900 000 file names.
This isn't too much of a problem as can work around it, but also it creates big delays when people save files, sometimes 5 minutes for the sync to catchup. Then they try email a PDF and its the old version before they saved.
I tried the idea of just syncing particular folders within the sharepoint, but it looks like it still indexes the entire sharepoint.
Is there any solution other than splitting it into 2 or 3 different sharepoints that anyone could suggest?
