Dumb question - is AMC OTA a week behind?

I've been watching by DVRing from AMC, as I don't have AMC . Are the episodes airing a week behind AMC ? I ask because it seems like this forum is always a week (or more) ahead of me on episodes, and I can't figure out why.
I did only recently start DVRing, so if this isn't actually the case, it might be that I somehow got set up for a recording that is a week behind (i.e., I'm catching a repeat broadcast rather than the original airing).
