First let me say that I am very much enjoying the show so far. Its one of my favorite things on right now. My only possible complaint is that they might have included even more from the book. Specifically Lestat's father. The inclusion of Louis' family gave me hope that we would indeed see the father of Lestat as well, But as they are now getting to Claudia's part of the story it seems as tho we will not be seeing the old man. Now, this does not ruin anything for me. I actually enjoy the fact that even tho I am well versed in the source material, I have no idea where the story will end up. My only worry is that they will also not include the musician that Lestat turned after Claudia's attempt to murder her maker. This is one of my favorite parts of the book as that character seems like a parallel to TVL's Nichola De'Enfant. Hopefully I will get to see some more of my favorite parts of the book in the show but if not I am still well entertained. I'll just have to wait and see.
