Hello everyone, so I had symptoms of bladder pain that progressively got worse within about a week's time frame, thought it was in my mind (psychosomatic) but it reached a crescendo as of about 2 days ago and my pain is excruciating and nothing relieves it besides toradol. The pain got so severe I went to the ER where they gave me it and I finally felt relief but after about 20 mins it came back full swing, the pain is non stop, ibuprofen does nothing for it, I am pushed past my pain limits 24/7 and really struggling. All my labs have come back clear, no blood, no STD stuff, no infections, or bacteria I am healthy as a horse and yet my pain is beyond my limits. Is IC supposed to hurt this bad for this long? I am desperate, 800 mg ibuprofen does nothing, maybe I should try an antihistamine? I bought some baking soda and will try it soon and will also try avoiding inflammatory foods. But this thing just hit me out of no where, it built up over the course of a week. Please tell me it is not like this all day every day, chronic pain is fine whatever but at this level it is unbearable, I really need hope right now because I am giving it all I've got each and every second..

They haven't diagnosed me yet but there's no way it is anything else, for me it feels like I have held in my pee for way too long and hurts, but it's like that all the time and at an unbearable level. No one understands the pain I am in and just say it will be fine, the urologist denied my claim of IC and says it's partly in my head, swears up and down it isn't IC. They did find two kidney stones, one in each kidney but they weren't blocking anything they said, It doesn't sting or burn when I go, nor does my genitalia hurt at all, anywhere. I don't feel sharp pains, or scarping as some describe but it just basically feels like I've gotta pee SO bad ALL the time and actually going does nothing to relieve it. Any long time experiencers or newly diagnosed people with IC have any of these symptoms and can lend credence to my claim?

One last thing and it's a little embarrassing and maybe a hint as to the cause, I had unprotected sex and within a week I got the sever pain I am in now but all my labs and STD tests come back negative, could it be false negative? I find the correlation compelling, I pray that is what it is because IC sounds like a hell of a ride
