How quickly are tickets likely to be sold out?

Hey I really want to see Interpol this year - fav band but never seen them live!
I'm in UK so can choose between London and Manchester, more likely would go to London as it's closer.
Problem is I haven't yet found anyone to go with, so not sure if I should buy tickets? If I don't buy tomorrow will they probably be gone?
(P.S. How would it be to go by myself if I can't get anyone to go with me?)
