I hate this time of year. I hate the holidays so much. I'm not a Grinch or anything, I've just lost so many people during this time of year. Friends during school, family, and military friends all seem to pass around the holidays. This is also the time of year I was handed my walking papers from the military (disabled). It's overwhelming.
I no longer go looking for answers in a bottle. My vices are reading and gaming in order to escape reality. I stick to fantasy books and rpgs and mmorpgs. I want to escape reality so I refuse to play any shooter (ex military) and sports games (athlete since childhood).
I have a degree in construction and 3 various degrees in culinary arts. I also have 2 small gardens I tend in my yard.
I am a stay at home dad, so my day is always open, very lonely, and isolating. Other stay at home parents will get what I mean. I would love to connect with other parents but I'm open to anyone. I'm not gonna set an age limit because I've met interesting people at all ages being in the military, but if you know you shouldn't be messaging me, save us both the hassle and don't.
