Hi everyone so I have a problem and I really don't know what to do so I want to get my full 500mbit speed in my bedroom which is on the other side of the house and is on the 2nd floor while the hub is downstairs and so far over WiFi I can't get anymore than 200meg up here So my current plan with buying a 400 pound router on amazon didn't improve matters at all as the speeds didn't really improve by much going from 200 to 224 which is the highest I have recorded so far

My last plan which I'm not entirely sure will work or be effective is to buy a 20 m long cat 7 Ethernet cable on amazon and put on end in the hub and the other end in my pc which can handle the full speed of my internet which I found out by dragging it downstairs and plugging it in with an Ethernet cable

But the question remain will this 20m long cable be able to send 500mbits from the hub to the pc with Ethernet I don't know so that's why I'm asking reddit Thank you to anyone who replies in advance
