So, this is what 100 dollars a month for 900 mbps looks like. I don't fucking understand how this even works, I'm using a powerline adapter, and I know they aren't the best when it comes to wired ethernet connection, but HOLY SHIT they need to do something. I recently moved and at my old house I was having the same issues, no matter what I tried, I could never fix the slow mbps. I would do internet speed tests and would get 40-60 mbps, but when downloading it would fix to 6 max. At this point I feel like cox is turning me around, bending me over, and railing the fuck outta me. This is pretty much a scam. I don't know if this is my fault or the houses fault, but this is just fucking retarded. Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Because i know if I get my parents to get a cox guy out here to come and fix my interent, they're going to charge a fat wad of money for probably doing nothing. My router is a wrt120n which can handle up to 150 mbps and the modem is a Arris Touchstone CM8200 which I know can handle up to 600 mbps. So there is no justified reason why I should be getting lower than 50. If anyone knows how to fix this, please lmk because this just makes me want to be violent and shit.
