Hey everyone.
I'm a teacher from India where I teach IB Psychology for the DP currently for the last three years. Prior to that, I taught the local state curriculum here for Grades 11-12.
My qualifications include a Masters in Psychology and an MPhil degree. The MPhil as a course has been scrapped recently. I have attended a Category 1 workshop in IB and I may be an examiner this year.
I'm not sure what my next step should be. I wonder if I should do a doctorate. My MPhil lets me cut down on time and I can get a scholarship here.
I am open to a career in international teaching but I won't be moving out for another one and a half years atleast.
My question is, whether I should invest in a doctoral program. I only need to do course works for six months and then I can be anywhere in the world. It's a part time PhD so I can retain my job as well.
Are there any other courses, licenses etc that you would recommend? I am open to teaching IB or in the far future, college.
