If Ukraine will inevitably be taken over, isn't it a bad tactic to give them weapons that will inevitably fall in to the hands of the Russians?

Post Body

Either the weapons are enough to slow down a Russian invasion or not.

If they are, then they are enough to give Russians an advantage in further conquest.

If they are not, then it's just symbolic gesture.

What has history taught us? Don't we all remember the fall of Afghanistan?

Comments

If and when Russia successfully invade (whatever that means) there will most likely be a huge resistance movement that will be forced underground! Most weapons will be taken with them! It should be a huge movement as well as Russia can’t rule over Europe’s 2nd largest country with just 200000 troops!
