Why am I supposed to hate RFK Jr again?

From this video I’d say four things:

  1. He’s the only candidate who simultaneously wants to pull the world back from the brink of WW3 and combat climate change. For me, the two biggest existential threats.
  2. He’s openly pro choice, and willing to defend his position even to Shapiro’s conservative audience.
  3. I tried to fact check as I went along, and for the most part he’s certainly more honest than Trump and arguably at least as honest as Biden.
  4. He deliberately steers away from attacking his opponents or courting culture war issues, saying government should stay out of people’s personal lives. Either with abortion or vaccinations.

Weird that the media have gone in a spiral about a ‘worm eating his brain’ yet he’s still decisively more cogent and switched on than the other two candidates.

Have people who hate him literally never seen a full interview with him?

Would love to see him on a debating stage with Biden and Trump.

That's exactly my point. This is very much a "spiritual" issue.

I was raised in a fundamentalist christian church and grew up believing it all till I moved away to NYC 20 years ago and spent about 2 years questioning and reading my way out. Thanks to r/atheism, debateachristian, Dawkins, Hitchens, the whole crew.

My point is, I am very pro science, I'm an engineer, I accept the profound evidence for a 14 billion year old universe, I watch Nature and Nova documentaries, I'm just saying all this because you are missing my point.

Look at an issue like abortion, it's not a scientific issue at all. It's scientifically and literally undebatable that abortion is ending a life. Whether or not that life deserves the same rights as an adult human is not something science can answer. It's a moral judgement based on values.

I value freedom of choice for the individual. I will never have a womb. I will never know what it is like to have another human growing and developing inside me. I think the best overall moral outcome is to leave that choice up to the affected individual, the mother. I think a blanket policy dictating her actions will always be a net negative over leaving it up to individual choice.

Same with vaccines. It's up to the individual to decide if they want to have something injected into their body. Science can show evidence that taking a certain substance is a net positive, but whether or not to make it a public policy is again a moral judgement, not a scientific one.

Throwing it away how? I hate both political parties. Both are sold out to corporate interests

Voting third party is a vote of no confidence in this bullshit system we've created for ourselves.

I'm not anti vax, but I'm proudly pro choice when it comes to vaccines. If its your body it's your choice. From abortion, to vaccines, from drugs to floride. I don't trust anyone in government to make those decisions for me and my family.

C'mon man, fuck the experts... Like sure, maybe they have one certain field figured out, but I've spent the last 10 years as a contractor for wealthy clients in NYC, I've spent time in their homes, I've been a fly on the wall for countless conversations, and I can assure you that very few of them I would ever accept life advice from. Their family life sucks, they are neurotic, consumerist, status seekers... And these are the people making decisions for the collective whole.
