Had my first experience building a raid party

So context I was farming floor 27 for my first integral weapon the nox series I can solo the boss on both difficulties but it takes ages because while the boss is easy to dodge it's a damage sponge. Well I luckily found some people in front of the lab and recruited them to run the lab. Eventually we had 4 people there and we all had roles one of them was tank one was on break duty the other was a debuffer and I was dps it was so fun is this how people felt back in the day in older mmos?
