Case Manager Job?
Post Body

Hey all,

Hopefully someone out here can help me out with some advice.

I currently work in sales for a small IT company. It was the first job I got out of college and I needed money to pay bills, student loans, etc. (I live in Ontario for reference)

Well its been about a year... I was just offered a promotion (but the thing is I hate working here and I'm not too keen on sales). My income is okay... 40k comission but the comission is small. If I hit earnings this year, I'll probably expect 50-52k.

I have a connection who is a manager in a fairly large insurance company based out of Toronto. It is entirely possibly for this person to help me transition careers to work in this company. She has already helped someone else get a job there who had even less experience in the business world than I do.

The job would probably be as a case manager at 55k a year, and also working remotely.

My question is: are there ny case managers out here? If so, what do you guys think of your job? What is the future career path of a case manager? What would some expected earnings for the future be?

Really, any insight you could provide would be really appreciated!

Cheers
