Desperately needing US based guidance; just transitioned into a new role as a claims analyst for a self insured commercial motor carrier and I definitely was not properly formally trained (lmao); I have real bad imposter syndrome and am lacking the confidence with what I’m telling claimants.
I’m trying to fill in the training on my own and I don’t live in a state that mandates licensing so would love advice on the process!
Should I constantly be attempting to resolve auto and property claims as quickly as possible on behalf of my company? Should claimants ALWAYS go through insurance on their end?
Estimate reviewing is something I’m struggling wrapping my head around, especially over higher sums, and countering them appropriately.
I’m stressing, good people
