For the basics I’m 17 living in South Wales, I passed my test two months ago and am looking for a different insurance provider

I’m looking at getting a new car, I’m currently paying £1700 with a black box for a 2009 Vauxhall Astra 1.2L with both my parents on the insurance

Is there any cheaper insurance options, My friend was with admiral paying just £2000 for a Kia Rio 1.2L

I am looking at getting the same car just three years older (2013) and the cheapest non black box insurance I can find is £5000 but with a black box it is just £1200
