How curious that the renter's insurance I had in a different state would somehow cover the first 300k of insurance on the house in Kansas that I own and rent out. Beyond 300k the umbrella covers it, they tell me. They did not tell me this for months, until recently. I am unhappy with this company for their inability. Unable to continue home insurance coverage for a customer of several years that has never made a claim?! I don't even really need renter's insurance on my new place in California but would get it if that would get me coverage on my house. I want to change umbrella, home, car over to a company that can handle it all properly and cost effectively. I welcome advice. Thank you.
