Hi reddit,
My motorcycle was stolen 1 month after I purchased it. Being the first vehicle I ever bought, I was inexperienced and did not get gap insurance.
Geico said the valuation of the bike is 5,000. Minus my 1K deductible and they will be paying my lien holder around 4K. This is 2.2K less than what I own on the loan.
I'm not really one to create a fuss of a situation to get my way. But I wanted to ask to see if there is anything I could do to maybe get geico to help a little more.
