Hello,
I read through the rules and I do not believe what I am asking breaks any of them, so if I am, mods, feel free to delete.
I currently have the following policies:
- Auto Insurance for two vehicles (Company A)
- Home Insurance (Company A)
- Short / Long Term Disability for myself (Company B)
- Whole Life for myself & my wife (Company B)
- Umbrella Insurance Policy (Company A)
Is there such a thing as a Personnel Insurance Consultant that could review my policies? I am thinking something like a fiduciary for financial planning. I am specifically not looking for a sales person, just an independent consultant that is not associated with a specific company. Even if all they do is confirm that the price I am paying is appropriate for the coverage that I have.
I do not feel that I am knowledgeable in this area to know if I am paying too much, the right price, or I am getting a steal. Any help or points in the right direction would be appreciated. I understand that this will cost me a fixed fee to have someone review all my policies.
Thanks, let me know if what I am asking is not clear!
Eric
