So I was driving to work last week and a driver did a crazy u-turn and hit my car and he took off. My car wasn't driving anymore, he hit me in the front driver side above the wheel. The air bags were out and the car wasn't driving the engine was running though.
My dilemna is that I have no insurance. I called a tow asap and they showed up before anyone could call the police. The told the tow truck driver that I had no insurance to cover the damage and he told me that we can make a new claim and to get my car insured and he'll tell me what to say for the claim. He towed my car to his shop and gave me his number. He told me to go with a specific insurance and to get full coverage and first time forgiveness. He said he did this for his friend just last month and it was all covered.
I'm wondering if this sounds legit or not. Kind of desperate right now to get the car back on the road with insurance this time lmao.. but not also tryna pay that amount for insurance just to get the no.
