Insurance only pays 2/3 of replacement vehicle
Post Body
We had an accident that other party ran red light and got a ticket. I was told our vehicle is totalled 2 weeks after the accident. But they only willing to pay about $20k. I checked Carmax and online, a similar condition vehicle of the same year cost about $30k. I rejected the settlement. I want to know what other steps I can do to get more money to purchase the replacement. I am considering hire a lawyer. Is this the only way insurance company will pay more money out?
Thanks in advance!! 🙏🙏🙏
