My auto insurance payments are going up 50% next month
Post Body

I just got an email from my auto insurance provider, Metromile. It's a pay-per-mile type company that I've had for at least 5 years now. It seems that my insurance company got bought out by Lemonade and the rates will go up next month.

I ran some numbers on last months mileages. If I continue to the same plan my last months payment of $51.62 will approximately be $75.19. That's about a 50% increase.

So I'm wondering if anyone can share what auto insurance companies you use? I'm looking for one that's cheap (liability only) and can do monthly debit payments (since I can't afford to pre-pay 6-12 months in advance).

Thanks for your help.
