Coverage out of state.. while working a contract job.
Post Body

Good morning,

So… I reside in a southern State and have been working a contract job in another state for the past year and 2 months. I purchased this vehicle while on contract in the state I work in.

My vehicle got hit in a parking lot, and my insurance adjuster is asking me how long I had been in the state I’m currently in working.

My question is, if my garaging address is set to the southern state…is the vehicle I purchased in x state less than two months ago covered?? Even if I’ve been working here for over a year.. it’s a 30 day contract extension that can end at any time.. i am not a resident of this state. And I live at a friends home with no long term lease set in plan.

My worry is the adjuster to deny claim because I’ve practically been living in this state. But without official residency due to the temporary contract job.

Do I tell this all to my adjuster??
