Just got put on notice by our insurance company for excessive claims which only one was an at fault claim. Our daughter (18)has been put on notice that if there’s another claim against her that she will have to be listed as an excluded driver & have to get her own insurance, she was at fault in an accident & had another claim where her car was hit in a parking lot resulting in a comprehensive claim. They are changing our collision deductible from $250 to $500 at our next renewal. Our agent pointed out to the underwriters that we have been insured with them for over 25 years, all of our vehicles, homeowners & multiple life insurance policies are through them to help gain leniency. People are always pointing out to let you insurance subrogate & do the work for you but it seems like it has bitten us since one claim was still a loss for them & 2 others were cancelled after the other parties insurance paid out, the vehicles were drivable but it took awhile for the other insurance to accept responsibility. Oct 2018 paid out $2200 for an uninsured motorist hitting our vehicle. Dec 2019 showing a collision claim where nothing was paid out, fender bender where other party took responsibility. May 2022 subrogate a claim for us & are showing a $700 loss from not recovering everything from the other insurance company. March 2023 payout of around $41k, daughter was in an accident, both vehicles involved were totaled April 2023 vehicle was hit in parking lot at work, filed a claim under comprehensive & then cancelled the claim after the other party came forward & took responsibility. June 2023 daughter’s car was hit in a shopping center parking lot resulting in about $2000 claim.
