I added my girlfriend as a secondary named insured on my policy cause she has become comfortable driving my new truck. Just adding her as a named insured made my policy go down by $11 for a 6 month period. I got curious and quoted adding her car to my policy as well. Adding her car to my policy will increase my premiums by $88 for a six month period which is much cheaper than the $45 dollars per month she is currently paying. Is there any downside to adding her car to my policy and canceling her’s. Is there anything I’m not thinking of that could be a problem?
