Registration cancellation - MA
Post Body
I recently got into a car accident that needs a substantial amount of work done. It is not drivable at the moment and Iām going to be away from home for months. I was recommended to cancel my registration so I can cancel my insurance. With that being said however, would this cause any type of lapse in my insurance? Would I receive higher rates when trying to reinsure in the future (when I return)? I understand this question is a bit specific for my insurer.
