Air sealing and Insulating our old attic. No soffits. Should I baffle for an air gap for the health of the roof deck, or am I missing an opportunity to fireblock the eaves as well and cut off that air flow that may be escaping through the adjoining wall?
Pictures below show gable wall fireblocking, then showing approaching the eave, looking down the eave, and then one of the bays baffled.
To baffle, or not to baffle?
