Advice on monetizing account w 230k+ followers?
Post Body

I started a nostalgic/meme page back in March and had no idea how quickly it was going to grow and didn't really have a plan for it. Unfortunately, IG stopped paying creators for reels so I'm not making any money off of it currently. So, I'm trying to grow my TikTok page which is almost at 3k. I've consulted ChatGPT on ways to monetize it and it of course listed all the main things such as brand deals/promos, affiliate marketing, merch and subscriptions.

I'm planning on doing some of these soon. I might start with the affiliate marketing since I've already set up a shop w Amazon. I will probably start making exclusive subscriber only content later on. I will also do a merch drop when I hit half a million followers that I should get in about 9 months since I'm netting about 1k followers a day. That will give me time to make a better brand logo, make some merch and set up a store for a big drop.

Can you guys give me any more tips or advice on monetizing my page in the meantime?

Have you looked in to the Skool Games? It didn't work for me, but it seems geared for folks with larger followings. The free trail has super clear workshops and great info.

I see people selling courses on how to grow an IG following. It's something I'd probably pay for tbh.
