This week my IG account has been disabled on two separate occasions for “impersonating another account”. I have other accounts impersonating to be me, but this was a first. After appealing with a screenshot/ID, IG still went ahead and denied this appeal…after a few anxiety induced hours my account randomly was reinstated with no explanation. Then randomly the same disablement happened again a moment ago.
I have a creator account and solid following of 300k and my livelihood depends on this account- does anyone have suggestions on how to prevent this from occurring? Any setting or tactic I can have in place to ensure IG does indeed know this is me and stops wrongfully disabling my account?
